YA§A is a Kurdish word and means "law".
The name of the organisation points out the way, which YA§A will follow, in order to achieve its goals: the enforcement of right and law.

YA§A aims the promotion of universal understanding, the tolerance and the dialog of cultures and pleads for the integration and coexistence of different cultures.

YA§A supports and promotes the human and minority rights, as well as conducting of studies and research about the legal frameworks of the human right questions particularly the Kurdish question.

YA§A maintains and promotes the Kurdish culture.
