On July 5th, Yasa e.V., the Kurdish Center for Studies and Legal Consultancy, participated in a side event during the regular session of the United Nations on human rights, which is being held from June 18 to July 12, 2024. Yasa e.V., along with other NGOs, discussed human rights violations in Afrin and other Turkish-occupied areas in northern Syria. Subsequently, Yasa e.V. participated in the main event. The discussions with government representatives and other NGOs were constructive.
The voices of the victims must be heard on an international level. Yasa e.V. will use all available international procedures to help the victims.
