Why YASA

YASA is a non-governmental, non-profit human-rights organisation based in Germany. We work to promote and advance the rights of Kurds in their country of origin and throughout the diaspora.

Founded in Bonn in August 2005, YASA serves Kurdish communities through human-rights, integration and cultural work.

On the political level, YASA operates through the use of national, regional and international legal instruments and works with governmental and non-governmental organizations, which also promote the implementation of human rights.
